Letter from Prison: Nasrin Sotudeh, Iranian lowyer stated e new hunger strike

To Human rights activists:
In the midst of the Covid-19 crisis which has gripped Iran and the world, the conditions of political prisoners and prisoners of conscience in Iran have become so difficult that it is impossible to continue their detention under such oppressive conditions. Their legal cases are made up of unbelievable charges of espionage, corruption on earth, acts against national security, prostitution; and formation of online channel in illegal Telegram social media, which can result in up to ten years of imprisonment or even execution sentence .
From the start to the end, many accused are denied access to an independent attorney or allowed meetings with their own attorneys. Revolutionary courts Judges recklessly and repeatedly tell the accused that they issue verdicts solely based on reports from the intelligence and security agencies and the interrogators tell them the final verdict in advance from the beginning of their arrest. Human rights attorneys are sent to prison because the judges of Revolutionary courts become furious with them. Those who face unbelievably heavy charges get sentenced to maximum and even more than maximum sentences, having to have to wait in disbelief and in glimpse of a legal means.
Courts of appeals, conditional parole, reduction of sentences, postponement of sentences and a new law emphasizing the issuance of a minimum sentence have been promised, but in extrajudicial proceedings the exercise of all these legal rights are left to interrogators who close the pathways to freedom of political prisoners. Many prisoners are now eligible for conditional parole and many should have been released under the new law, but prisoners are treated as if there are no laws and none of them have the right to any legal outlets. Prisoners’ correspondence to find legal ways to freedom has gone unanswered.
All my correspondence having not been unanswered, demanding the release of political prisoners, I go to hunger strike.
Hoping for establishment of justice in my homeland Iran
