Diplomatic Accord between Israel and the United Arab Emirates: A Step in the Direction of Peace and Friendship in the Middle East

Iran Transition Council (ITC) believes that the peace treaty between Israel and the United Arab Emirates is a positive and constructive step in the diplomatic relations of  the allied nations. The accord could be a starting point for further positive developments and peace processes in the region and eventually lend to realization of the demands of the people of Palestine.  This timely and rightful agreement is also a reinforcement once again of the fact that the only way to guarantee peace and security in the Middle East is to enter dialog and peaceful co-existence of nations, and not the discourse of hate and violence – the decade-long practice advocated by the islamic regime of Iran and practiced with the help of its allies and proxies in certain countries of the region.

We at Iran Transition Council (ITC), as the organized transition organization advocating for a democratic state in Iran, regard the agreement between the United Arab Emirates and Israel in compliance with the national interests of the people of Iran. We also consider the implementation of this policy as a step in strengthening not only peace and security but also socio-economic development of all countries in this turbulent and dangerous region.  We also believe that a peace treaty between all Arab states, Israel and the people of Palestine could successfully put an effective end to the destructive adventures of the regime in Tehran in the region.
