This survey titled “Iranians’attitudes toward religion”was conducted by Gamaan, an independent, non-profit research foundation, from June 6 to 21, 2020. Over 50 thousand respondents were surveyed, around 90% of whom lived in Iran. This study was financially supported by and carried out in cooperation with Dr.Ladan Boroumand, cofounder of and senior fellow at the Abdorrahman Boroumand Center for Human Rights in Iran. We express our sincere gratitude to her and all the volunteers who, in one way or another, assisted us in conducting the June 2020 survey on Iranians attitudes toward religion.
